2011 Energy tax credits
Beginning January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011, replace your home’s old windows and doors with ENERGY STAR® qualified Pella® windows and doors and you may qualify for a tax credit of up to $500 on your 2011 federal income tax return. The "Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization and Job Creation Act" (H.R. 4853) gives homeowners the ability to receive 10% up to $200 for windows and 10% up to $500 for doors. 1. Buy
Purchase an ENERGY STAR qualified Pella window or door.
2. Install
Install your qualified Pella window or door in your principal residence after January 1, 2011, and before December 31, 2011.
3. Keep
Retain the NFRC label from each product along with the sales receipt. Use these when you prepare your taxes.
4. Download
Download a Pella Manufacturer's Certification Statement for your records.
